May Newsletter 2017

Hi Maureen,

Autumn is definitely here with the leaves on our beautiful old deciduous trees beginning to fall and warm fires being lit.

You can do it you know!
Make that knife, weave that basket, felt that wool.

We want to show you how, and together discover your many hidden talents.

How about this for an Autumn treat.

Hedgerow weaving.
This is not creating hedges for us here on the farm. More so it is a hunting and gathering of vines and woody material from around our property then creating a basket, trivet, wreath etc.

A nice warm fire awaits you as you twist and turn vines and prunings. Join Maureen on this adventure.

  Hedgerow Weaving

Oh yes, we have added another workshop to our growing list.

Cast Bronze Sculpture
This is not creating a giant sculpture that you would need a crane to shift. Rather, out of this workshop, you will come away with a small bronze piece of sculpture. We have local artisan Frank Watson taking us in this creative workshop. It is 2 1/2 days of creative WOW.

Cast Bronze Sculpture

Have you booked one of our Sewing Workshops?

Book a sewing workshop before May 31st and you go into the draw to win your very own vintage sewing machine. If you bring a friend then you get two entries!
